Who can you receive payments from?
You can receive payments via your mobile from anyone with a mobile subscription and a Belgian bank account with bank card. The only thing customers need to do is activate m-banxafe on our website (French/Dutch), at an ATM or in a phone shop.If your customer does not yet have a SIM card with m-banxafe-function, he can exchange his SIM card in his phone shop.
How do you proceed?
There are different ways to receive payment via your mobile:- If your SIM card supports m-banxafe, you use the menu of your mobile (continue in French/continue in Dutch).
- Your SIM card does not support m-banxafe and you are a Proximus customer (continue in French/continue in Dutch).
- Your SIM card does not support m-banxafe and you are a Mobistar or BASE customer (continue in French/continue in Dutch).
In other words, you don't need to have an m-banxafe-SIM card to receive payments via your mobile! However, processing payments and retrieving recent transactions is a lot easier. Replacing your SIM card by a SIM card that supports m-banxafe is entirely free of charge.
What if my customer does not have enough money on his account?
The transaction is cancelled and you receive a text message that the transaction was unsuccessful. Your customer also receives a text message to say the payment was cancelled.
